Yonnet Joins Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life Performance Tour

Frederic Yonnet performs two songs with Stevie Wonder as part of Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life Performance tour, which kicks off on Thursday, November 6 at Madison Square Garden. Yonnet joins Wonder on “Have a Talk with God” and “Mama’s Call” which originally featured three harmonica parts…all recorded by Stevie.

Wonder is set to play the classic Songs In The Key Of Life double-album in its entirety at 11 stops in the United States and Canada, as well as other hit songs. The tour begins in New York City on November 6th and ends in Oakland on December 5th. Face value ticket prices range from $192 to $54 for the cheap seats, not including ultra premium and VIP tickets. There will be special guests performing in each city however Yonnet is the only consistent guest on the tour. Note, Yonnet will not perform on this show due to a prior commitment.

This isn’t the first time Wonder has re-created his landmark Songs in the Key of Life onstage. The legendary singer/songwriter/musician performed the 1976 double-album in its entirety during his 18th annual House Full of Toys (HFOT) holiday benefit concert last year at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live and Yonnet was a part of that historic event as well. HFOT returns to LA on Dec 20, Wonder at The Forum.

If you’ve never seen Wonder and Yonnet together, then enjoy this video. They don’t perform this tune on the show but it sure is fun to watch them go at it on YouTube!
